hit the yakima canyon on canyon road. you can park at the umtanum recreation site, cross the river and walk the hillsides looking for chuckar and maybe some pheasant. you could look at the washington recreation atlas they sell at numerous bookstores like barnes and noble. it will give you public land areas. you can also look at the gohunt site off of wdfw website. there's a link to it on this site's homepage.
