What ground blind did you use for your hunt?

Nice photos.  Personally, I'm not a big fan of the Optifade.  Just my opinion -  I think they overdid the "science" of it all as a means to sell it.  ASAT (and I don't even own any) is one of the most effective patterns for breaking up the human form, and not visually "blobbing" at a distance.  Predator comes in close behind ASAT on that front.  Optifade has great color but they are similar enough that they blob up at a distance.  I think they could have made it much more effective by integrating some dark linear and blocky shapes to "cut up" the haze of muted color into chunks at a distance.  Again, just my opinion.  Being paired with Sitka only jacks the price WAY up.  Personally, I don't want to dump $500-600 into a hunting outfit.  Now, if you get a killer deal on it  ;) then I guess that's another story.

I need to apologize to Cory and xXx Archery.  When I posted this (above), I was only thinking about my opinion and not the fact that Cory was trying to share some photos and his experience with the new Optifade pattern.  It never occurred to me at the time that my comments discount a product that xXx sells as part of their livelihood.  As a site sponsor, they deserve better treatment from a Moderator.

My sincere apologies guys!

I have the 90% Optifade outfit and I gotta tell ya that I sure was impressed at how well it wicked away the sweat and didn't seem to get "heavy" when wet! I also have many other camo outfits...some issued and others purchased. All in all I think the Optifade is great, only down side is that it SURE IS PRICEY!!!!!!!

Great pics btw...Beautiful area your hunting in!
