real nice ones, dude. how far out were you from the birds?

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

All three were takin'with the 18.  I was set ona tripod at 18 power on the two similiar ones, with my camera set at 8 mp.  The one of him laying or facing me was at 23 power with the camera set at 5 mp.  I wish it was as sharp as the others.  I was on manual focus because there was too much noise and it was alway fcusing on everything else but the bird.  I'm pretty slow with the manual on these cameras.  Not as easy as my SLR.

If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Yep, two of them.  One was banded by me and let go back in May as a young one.  He is still sporting the red band.  The other was not.  They both have maanged the onslaught of hunters and hawks in the Wenas, both of which is tremendous.

I don't get it  :)  You are the guy who runs the photo of the month. It just doesn't seem right to be a voting judge and a participant but I guess if people think I am wrong then you should be able to.  :dunno:

I like those photos.
