Anyone know if they are allowing walk in access as of yet?!?!? Or do I need to hunt plan B?

Yes they are.  I called yesterday and it said Pe Ell area was open, just be sure to adhere to the green dot, yellow dot, red dot system.

Can someone briefly explain the "dots" ?
Green = good road to use?
Yellow = some closure?
Red = Do not go?

Is there a place locally to get a map for Willapa? And are deer better to the south (Cathlamet) or east of Pe Ell?  Any help appreciated and thanks.

Red dot - no motorized vehicles, walk-in, ride horse or bike ok.
Yellow dot - weekend access only.
Green dot - open public access - vehicles ok

That's the scoop for most of our gates down here - Weyco and Rayonier.
