Cleanup Event - Puyallup River
« on: September 10, 2009, 07:24:59 PM »
Given all the negative PR lately I thought it would be good to have a cleanup event on the Puyallup River, once the crowds die down a little. The plan is to bag up debris and coordinate with the City's/ WDFW, once enough interest is gathered. Please email if interested in helping out.

Email sent.  I live in Edgewood, 30 seconds from the Old Cannery.  Dave

i will offer to row a driftboat as long as someone is with me that is familiar with the river. we can get a lot of junk that way.
D-i think i already told you that but if this takes off my offer stands.

With all going on in our family this last year I had forgotten about this, might be good to wait until low water at this point, shoot for the summer, most of the gear is accessible then and the weather is better 8).
