Been trying to decide if they are scrub jays or pinyon jays....the ones I've been seeing really look like scrub jays we have had a bunch down here in Elma...first time I've ever seen them, but they have been around since spring.

heres a true blue,I would love to see one,got to go east of the rockies
They're a headache in iowa- they always scold you and give away locations.  They also scold the deer though...

I've got two families of Stellar Jays on my property. Wife won't the the boys shoot'm! Noisy *censored*s!

 Definitely a juvie, though could be Scrub or Pinyon. With all the weird weather lately the birds have been moving into new areas a lot. I've been seeing Lincoln's sparrows all over the Coast here, a Green Tailed Towhee and a few other's I haven't seen in this area.

thats unreal... they're soooooo far from home it's not even funny. wonder if the heat wave had somethin to do with it? the one is only a few months old. reminds me of when they caught that marlin off the coast a few years ago... wow. go buy a lotto ticket asap!

I live in Selah Wa and have seen some here for the past month. But like others said they are Scrub Jays
