my high hunt buck
« on: September 22, 2009, 01:13:27 PM »
hey guys, I just got back from my first high buck hunt and on friday i smacked one.  :chuckle: It was hard hunting but we did manage to see lots of elk, and a few deer. the buck i got was the smaller of the 2 we saw. we saw this guys bigger brother the day befor and he managed to learn how to do a matrix move and dodge bullets. lol. but all in all it was a great hunt and well worth it. the ride in on horses was great and the views and scenery up there are amazing.

work sucks when it gets in the way of hunting!

Personally, I think work just sucks! But it really sucks when it gets in the way of hunting.

That's a great looking buck. Congratulations!

haha, yeah. we got into a mess of them. and we had one 5x5 bugle about 100yds away from us and i figured i would try and take a stick and rake a tree and see what happened. id seen it on tv so it has to work right? well this guy made a b line for us and got to around 30 or 40 yds and stood there staring at us and make these sounds that werent a bugle but just seemed like he was trying to make us bugle or something all in all it was pretty cool.
