Couple more fresh ones!
« on: December 22, 2007, 05:35:23 PM »
Went out around the house this morning and spotted a couple fresh ones laying on top of the snow. I am just starting to get my boys into shed hunting with me so I left the sheds there and went back to the house and told the boys to get dressed so we could go shed hunting. They were ready in about a minute. Went back out and started them in the general direction, my oldest boy found the first one so I had to send him in another direction to let the littler one get in on the fun. After they both picked one up everything they saw was a shed from then on out. They both took off on dead runs several times only to be disappointed with a branch sticking out of the snow.
Hunter's 1st shed.

Nicholas's 3rd shed, he made it out with me a couple of times last year. This one is his biggest yet and he hasn't let go of it yet.

The girls were a little disapointed that I wouldn't let them come with us but I assured them that they will get to go next time.

Just went out around the house this morning miles. Saw three does nothing else. Talked to my bro-in-law and he picked up four this morning. Went and pulled my trail cam again and all the bucks that I posted yesterday are still packin. Talked to a guy I know that lives over by hunters and he has picked up 3 in the last week.

getting the kids excited is perfect.
