Were going up to the methow to see if we can find any deer that the wolves haven't killed. Were bring the video camera so if we do we will record them. Hopefully one will run into my truck

Wish us luck!  :IBCOOL:

Well were back from the Twist area and sorry to say with out any animals. I can tell you that the deer numbers are WAY down this year due to the hard winter and the wolves. We saw way fewer deer than years past including a couple small muley bucks and 2 bruiser white tail bucks that we jumped at 120 yrds but they didn't stop to present a decent shot so we passed on them.

Beleive it or not we saw Moose tracks on top of Chelan ridge with a cougar tracks following him, they were HUGE tracks and I'm sure it was a nice bull looking for cows. has anyone else seen a moose above the Carlton area? I'll try to get the pics up soon.

We came back early as my 66yr old dad cannot hunt as hard as the rest us due to his arthritis, he's good for about 1 day plus of hard hunting and he's done for . My dad has never taken an animal bigger than a small 3 pt and his goal this year is to get one on his wall this year and I'm really feeling the pressure to get him one, he's not getting any younger and every year it gets harder and harder. If any of you landowners have any property that he could hunt to get one on the wall that would be awesome.
