new pheasant hunter
« on: September 27, 2009, 03:32:13 PM »
My dad and I are going to be hunting pheasant for the first time this year. The areas i'm looking at hunting are non toxic shot areas. I am used to shooting #7 in lead when i shoot clays, but what does this translate to in non toxic shot like steel? Should i still shoot #7 or something bigger due to change in ballistic performance? Any help you guys can provide is appreciated.

Cool thanks guys. Where's the best place to get some? I'm betting Big 5 doesn't stock them
