don't think they care as long as everyone is safe.

Whether they (the WDFW) care, or care to enforce the law, remains to be seen.

WAC 232-12-169...

Unless the terms and conditions, of the preceding passage of law, were met... the law was broken, even if no enforcement action or charges came from it.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I'm interested, just depends when and where.

Now that the AR knows what it's after I have a decent chance. :)

eastside coyotes are bigger...some go 150 pounds. ;)

(That might really get the non-sanctioned-non organized event participants in trouble though)

I'm sure someone can look it up and quote it for us, but I beleive I recall recently reading in the new law passed for conduct on WDFW land, any gathering of more than 30 people on WDFW owned or controlled lands, requires a permit from them....ain't that some BS!!!   guess we'd have to keep a count and once more than 30 people showed up we'd have to ask them to stand a way from us, that way they could be considered their own group....  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Not only WDFW lands, but DNR as well. I am not sure of the number, but DNR has had limit/permit type deal for a long time. I just took a quick look and could not find it.

the good news is there is never gonna be more than 2 guys on the same piece of land....no matter how many holes only one guy/team gets to claim it.

wastickslinger and I did a derby last year and over 70 teams entered. We hunted the whole night (admist my food poisining  :puke:) We hardly ran into anyone. Every once in awhile we would see a spotlight or two a mile away or so.

Participated in a couple of larger turneys, but they are getting so expensive ($60 per Person), so I haven't in a while, but while hunting I never saw anyone. Folks scatter, meet up at a designated spot, then meet up later in the day and show off your catch.

Sure was fun though, and got to meet a bunch of good guys.
