2007 Entiat Archery Success
« on: December 26, 2007, 05:44:33 PM »
I finally drew the Entiat C tag after several years of trying to get drawn. Hunted hard for many days and was really starting to get good at putting chains on in the dark :bash:. Saw lots of deer but the big guys were tough to find. Found this guy bedded one morning and after an unsuccessful stalk my good friend decided that he would do a big circle around the canyon and see if we could make a push work for me. The plan worked out perfectly as the buck came by me at 20 yards with his nose right up a does rear end. After all that hard work from my buddy, I couldn't say no to the opportunity presented to me. He wasn't the monster I was looking for but I am still proud of harvesting a mature mule buck with the help of a good friend.

That is a great buck, congrats, especially this year. I would be very proud to take an animal like that.

Not the biggest buck but a respectable one, and plus it is bigger than most rifle guys killed this year. Congratulations
