good luck. i hope you've done some more shooting other than sighting in the day before the season. i always kinda wonder when a guy waits that long to sight in the rifle/shotgun. but if its shootin hey go for it, hope you get your first

Let us know how it goes.  I'm all registered to hunt Lewis, but most likely won't hunt it.  I've got a couple other places I'm trying first.

I grew up on Ft. Lewis and miss the fishing out there.  Never did any hunting although I had seen a lot of deer.  Near the Lewis Lake and Chambers Lake areas.  Good luck on your hunt.  Also good duck hunting out there last I remember.

deep breaths.. Don't "freak out" or you may miss or wound the deer.   Take it slow, have fun and good luck.

Dont give up on Lewis so quick, they are there!!!! Just get in deeper tomorrow. Remember the scotch broom they will bed right down in that stuff and you pratically have to kick them out of there..
