It was fun reading about your hunt.  You had a good experience, and thats all that is important when it comes down to it.

At a way to stick with it till the very end Sandy. I ate my Entiat tag last year. Just couldn't find that one buck that knocked my socks off. But like you it wasn't for the lack of trying. Thanks for taking us along with you. By the way, you still have until Tues. to fill your general tag :)

Thank you ALL for your wonderful comments :) I really did enjoy the Entiat Unit. Now I am a walking map, lol, of certain areas of course. I took what I learned and found new things to add. I noticed that almost all the does had twins, and that not all the does were afraid of me. I was getting ready to leave the truck one afternoon when I noticed a doe standing/eating not 50 yds. away. So I stayed there and waited to see if maybe there was a buck with her, next thing I knew there were 4 more does, watching me while eating, so I took some pics of them, I thought that was cool, they let me walk around without running off. It was a great experience that will last a lifetime and I have my diary and pic's to share with future generations of hunters ;) Thank you for all your advice/help I really appreciated it all!

My boy and i had a good time chasing does in the entiat to. He got doe fever more than a couple of times. had the arrow fall off of the string twice, Had a few run off from some morons shooting a gun above us in the selico area. 4 guys in a pick up truck GRAY CHEVY. Not cool especially knowing that there are bow hunters with camo in the area. And some wind change. But lots of action and lots of deer. GOOD TIMES
