big mule deer or big whitetail

What would you rather shoot a big mule deer or a big whitetail especially on opening day.

The mule deer is 27 wide straight across with triple eye guards on one side. The whitetail is 26 wide and a 7x5 that is heavy horned both opening day.

Both of those animals are huge...did that happen today?  Who shot those?  I'm assuming you didn't shoot them both.

Well if he was hunting the Idaho/Wa border he could do both.  I'd normally take a big muley everytime over a whitie, but in this case, that whitetail

Please tell me there not public land washington bucks on opening day?  I know they both can be killed here...but my god on opening day!

That mule deer is full body so I'm guessing ....somewhere on the reservation.

I would take the Muley every time over the Whitetail. Gotta love those Mule Deer!!

I've seen that muley genetic in the Kettle Crest a lot.  In fact, I have a shed that looks practically identical.
