Picked up 12 in 2 days of fishing on a fly rod two weeks ago. Temps 50-53 degrees in the river and water was rising. Almost all were natives. Impossible to take a pic of a native fish by yourself and get the fish back into the water in good shape. I usually try and not even touch natives when fishing alone. Did not have a net with me that day. Took a few pics of clipped fish with cell phone and will attach.
Tried swinging flies and ended up catching on nymphs and egg patterns
