Pogue late archery

Is it any better than the Swakane. I am thinking of changing for next year. (late archery)

Used to be.   Still lots of guys though.    Not sure how the migration is since the big burn and rumors of another wolf pack in there on the loup.

Out of curiousity, do you remember what year that burned?  It was a giant fire, wasn't it?  Is that the fire where the firefighters died?

Sorry about the barrage of questions and didn't mean to derail the thread, but I was just curious about that area, as well.

2006 was the year it burned. I had a late pogue rifle tag. It was a difficult hunt to say the least. No migration that year. Bone is right the area has lots of people hunting it. None of the pogue unit burnt during the tripod fire but it did effect the migration.

WTF there's a late archery hunt for POGUES only.  What about us infantry types?  Don't we get a late archery hunt as well. :chuckle:
