That definately looks like a lynx.  I could be wrong, I am no expert.

Its a bobcat.  If it was a lynx the tail would be shorter with a black tip.  Bobcats have a light colored underside to their tails and are a little longer.  Lynx also have bigger paws and longer legs but sometimes that is hard to tell.  For me the tail is the easiest way to tell the difference.

Here is a lynx.

Physical description: Canada lynx are easily recognizable cats with their black ear tufts, flared facial ruff, and very short tail. They can only be confused with the closely related bobcat Lynx rufus in the southern part of their range, however, a close look reveals a number of differences. The lynx has longer legs and broader footpads for walking in deep snow. Their ear tufts are longer, and the facial ruff is more developed. Their tail has a black tip, while the bobcat’s is more striped and white underneath. These two cat species seem to have divided the continent up between them, with the lynx in the northern forests and the bobcat being limited by snow depth to southern Canada, and through to Central Mexico.

I would be curious to see some dna analysis done on that cat. It almost appears to be a hybrid,  if that is possible. There are way too many lynx characteristics to be pure bob. IMHO.

Sorry its a link to a guide on telling the difference between lynx and bobcat.  Seems to be hard for some guys to tell.  I would hate for you guys to see a giant bobcat and pass it up because you think it is a lynx.  Or worse killing a lynx thinking it was a bobcat.

Definately a bob.....and a whopper at that.
Not sure what I think about the mount. It is nice, but something looks off on the face. Might be me.

wow i would say lynx because of the ears and colors of those cats. never seen a bob that grey and white but have seen lynx like that wow i would let it walk thinking it was a lynx if i saw them round here.
