bear video....Now online....how big is he?

I set my camera in my back yard to vid vome raccoons.  Had a BIG blackie come on camera.  How do I post a 10 MB video?

Well it isn't a photo so not sure how you intend to resize it and send img.

Anyway I think photobucket does also host videos.

I had eyes on him a couple weeks ago, but couldn't get the camera in time :bash:.  I don't normally bear hunt, but I would have shot him if I saw him in the woods.

That's a shooter in my book.  :P

Tough to tell the size with the darkness, but I'll be generous and go 270 and near 6'sq. Just about where a rug starts looking good. Belly only to his foreleg elbo, so he's not overly fat. Walking toward the camera, not much of a sway in his gate. A big Bear will sway side to side more.

When I saw him live, I guessed 250-300 lbs.  The night vid kinda sucks.

I bet you use a headlamp to take the garbage out now.  :)  Nice looking bear, I'd say right at 200, but with out any reference it's hard to tell....unless that was a four foot wall he was eating off of, then he's 800 pounds.  :):)  To me he doesn't move or act like a 300 pound bear.
