Did you see may other animals. Guy I work with was in Idaho week before last and didn't see but maybe 2 elk. Wolves have killed everything. Very few hunters. I think he hunted the Salmon erea

Pretty good considering how bad the wolves hammered them the last couple of years. See many calves?

Sorry about the tongue we were pretty excited and forgot to put it back in. We only saw one calf in the herd we shot this bull out of which is pretty bad considering there were 5 huge cows in the herd.

My hunting partner was a guide in the Selway, a lot of years ago. We have thought about packing in on a drop camp. how was the hunting and the amount of game you saw? Did you go with a guide or pack in on your own? I'm sure it has changed a lot since he was a guide. Congrads on a nice bull!

All together on this trip we seen about 25 muleys 3 were bucks, and 9 elk with this bull in it. We hunted hard but stayed in the same general area while we were hunting. Lots of fresh sign in the snow though so I know there was alot more animals than we saw.
