Great picture and story bone. And like most everyone else I grew up on hand me down hunting gear. I think this last year was the first time a bought something new for myself. As long I can wear it or use it in the woods I don't care what it is, where I got it or who gave it to me.

Hey Bone that buck looks like the one you shot this year. Only the extra is on the opposite side. Did you happen to kill them in the same general area.

For a mule deer, probably not that far, or same range I guess.  They would share the same migration route and probably some rutting grounds.  I seem to have a love for big five points.  Here one of these days, once the two point threads and three point threads have run their course, I was going to start one for 5 points.  There is something about that horn configuration that I just love.
