I think part of the payment on it will be a Christmas Present from mom and dad, since a poor college kid doesnt have a whole lot of mulah haha but I am thinking this gun will last me a long, long time compared to my 870 express that looks like it is 25 years old and really worn instead of 5 years old... very dissappointed in it.yeah..i really want one. dont hunt enough to need one though...I hunt a ton every year. I shoot probably close to 50 ducks a year and as many geese as possible so a little bit more money and a better investment is something I could really use.

I am looking at a new 870 youth for my daughter, I have always shot Mossberg though, not cause of preference but affordability at the time of purchase. Been good guns so far, but collected a lot of dust the last 5 or 10 years.

Going to the Community college getting my AA currently. Working full time on top of it and scraping pennies. Thank god my parents chipped in and bought me the gun. I shoot well into 100 ducks a year and as many geese as I can get into. That coupled with pheasants, quail, grouse, and chukars I shoot well into 500 rounds easy a year. A good reliable gun is what I needed and they came through. Waterfowl hunting is my absolute passion If you're ever back in town and wanna hunt lemme know, we could hookup and go slay some ducks Sounds like yo ugot a good gun that fits and was right for the price!
