 I'll take a dozen Columbia River mallards

The C.R. Decoys are great decoys.  If you can use about 2 dozen of them they sure do help.  Only draw back is they may not fit the budget.

They are tough to fit into any budget.  I luckily bought mine when the original owner was making them and they still looked good.  I don't like Mario's paint job on the newer stuff.  And they were a lot "cheaper" 9 years ago when I bought mine, not the $500/dozen they are now. 

I used them Wednesday for the first time, worst hunt of the year so far.  First 9 hunts were just 1 or 2 dozen plastics and my FW, 63 ducks and a goose.  Wednesday was tough, 2 birds.  Got to have days like that!

we used the carry lites today, along with 3 of the windduks.  definitely did not flare ducks. 4 guys had limits by 9-9:30am and singles kept dropping in on us after we got out of the blind to take pics of our pile of ducks.

 so far I think I like them. If i'm walking a long ways, I probably won't take them, but If i'm within a reasonable distance I'll use them a lot i think.
