Maybe try posting the same question on 24 Hour Campfire, maybe in the gunsmith forum. That ought to get some replies in there I would think. Somebody might even give you a little cash for it. Doubtful, but you never know.

Let me know if you still need a home for it.  I could use it for a parts gun for one of my grandmas guns since there are a couple pieces that need to be replaced.  Thanks

haha I guess I should have looked at your location first since you are a little ways away.  If someone close can pick it up let them have it as for I will not be getting anywhere near you anytime soon...

If you still looking for a new home for it, I can probably arrange to meet up with you after the hollidays.  My inlaws live in goldbar so I get up there about once a month.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

whacker1 has the old gun spoken for....
with that said if he decides he doesn't want it or can't make it over here or whatever... i want to make a few things clear.
this is not a gun that i would say you could put back together and safely go out hunting with. this is what i would consider a parts gun...kinda like an old parts car. the front stock has been donated to someone else, there's some rust in the blueing, it's in a million pieces, etc. i just don't want to say this is a safe gun to go out shooting. if you need some parts, perfect. if you're a gunsmith and want to put i tback together, great....but this is NOT A FREE HUNTING RIFLE!!

just want to be clear on the condition of this old rifle.

I will be in the Chehalis area for New Years, I may try to connect with you on that trip.  Otherwise I know that I will be coming over again later in January or February.
