I saw three does this morning without any visible bucks around. Probably a fluke but it true that once the peak breeding occurs (large number of does come into estrous), there will be a lull in the action because bucks are in tight quarters tending them until bred. Once bred, they will move off again in search of more receptive does. So it should pick up again around the end of the third week of November, but this is purely an active doe seeking activity by the bucks vs actual breeding occuring. Loud fawn bleats can bring bucks in quickly during this time.
