Cool pic, bad spot

I saw a situation similar to the first pic on the Outdoor network.   They had enough room to get a guy underneath the bull and gut it from there.  It made it a lot lighter, and could then use log pole pines to lever it out.  It was either a female shooter, or female guide.  They found another guide in the area to help with lifting it out.

Saw that show.  It was a female guide.  They called in a half dozen other guys and they "levered" it out of there with logs, ropes, and pulleys.  Was fun to watch them figure out how to do it.

That first pic was from a Realtree video. That is Miachal Waddell in the picture if im not mistaken. Yes its real. Bad luck right there!

I saw a hunt on TV that ended like that.  Could be the same bull.

The 2nd set of photos is a year or 2 old and if I remember right, the meat couldn't be salvaged.

tough situation. that would definately suck and only be able to salvage parts of the elk.

That original pic looks like it was the same bull from a hunting show. Guys couldn't find it for a while, then... good thing they had half dozen, or so, helpers.

   I'm pretty sure I remember this on a show also....sure looks familiar.

Wow!  That brings a new meaning to the word "WORK" getting an elk out!!!
