I have not hunted them yet, but what I've seen while being out looks like a average hatch. I'm curious, what club did you join? Are you shooting wild or released birds?

No, Deadman is down on the snake....Central Ferry area.  Mostly Klaveano ground.  I see they have Riley's as well.   I went out one day and saw about a hundred birds in 30 minutes or so.  One of the best years I have seen.

I didnt know they had Rileys too.  I worked for Klaveanos for the last few summers and I know they own around 10,000 acres up around the bute I just didnt know if it was part of the hunting club.

I worked for Nate and Matt in college one summer.  Quite the harvest crew!   I walked that whole place pulling rye, then back-packed it, then pulled about 5 miles of fence out!  :chuckle:  Close family friends (my family farms in Steptoe).  Deadman doesn't have any of the Steptoe ground.  You work for Butch down on the river?   I never hunted the river place, but would b.s. Shelby about it when they came up.   Always gave Matt a hard time about not killing any big deer on their ground   :chuckle:

I worked for Butch, hayed, built fence, and cowboyed for them.  I spent about a month and a half up in idaho building fence on their mountain pasture between Clarkia and Fernwood.  When harvest started in the lower country I would drive truck.  Boy Shelby is a fun guy to work with, things are always entertaining when he is around.  Good guys to work for.
