Firing center buck
« on: November 15, 2009, 03:33:03 PM »
Our close family friend got drawn for the YTC this year, and after a hard week of hunting him and my dad found this guy this morning with some does.  Nice 4x4

Again, I didn't harvest this deer, but i'll relay the messages to him.  For all you yote hunters i'd get out there, seen a couple coyotes and every evening at dusk they were talkin like crazy

All the bucks that have been taken YTC this season seem to be dandy ones.

Clark33, What's the proper procedure to get onto the firing center to hunt yote's?  I called onto the base, and got what I think was the rec center info line.  I don't think the lady understood I wanted to hunt coyotes, and kept telling me I needed to get drawn for a tag, then I could apply to get onto the base.  You don't need anything from the state other than your hunting license, right?
The only difference between a butt kisser and a brown noser is depth perception.

The biologist would love it if you came and hunted coyotes there, lots of them. You just need your hunting license, register your gun with them and watch the video. It's kind of messed up but you can go in there during the permit hunts and hunt birds and yotes, which i believe a few extra deer leave during that time also.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
