I photographed him two different days, here are a couple from the second day.  More on that story in a bit.

Yeah he looks a little mangy, I wonder if his health is all that great. I hope he's in better shape than he looks because those are cool genes he's wearin

He was mangy last year.  Hes about the same size.  Funny.  The first time I saw him a couple days ago he was the dominant buck of 5 of them.  He was dominant over 4 otehrs then a bigger one came in and stole his lady.

This day was weird....still don't know what was happening.  The deer had been scattered in this local with each buck doing his own thing with satellite bucks etc.   I came into the area and all the deer were in a real small area.  Probably about 35 does and 6 bucks.  THis peculiar guy, a big three, that dominant two point which was smaller than the three in bone, but not by attitude.  He was dominant, and a couple smaller bucks.  Pretty cool.  I wondered if predators or something had them moved.  There had been wolves in the area and also a cat.  I will never know.  I'll add some more pics.

Some of the group....dominance went to the two point, and the three in the background was second, and he eventually pushed the nontyp guy out who was 3rd in line.

Based on his 2008 rack, I'd say he's got potential to do great things in the next couple years, if he can make it.  I love trashy deer!
