2009 British Columbia bull. Funny, this is exactly they way he died. We had to roll him over for pictures, then roll him back to this position to start gutting and butchering! Fun times!

Well next year I'll remember to take a pic of him just laying there before the excitement gets the best of me! :chuckle: anyways he's still laying sorry my ugly mug is there too! congrats to all that  :these great elk have fallen pray to! :brew:  Till next year :bash:

2009, 2nd day spike, in spike restricted GMU. Bullet entry point visible
2008 sunshine & blue skies, 3pt bull after 6 days with any bull tag. Settled for 3 point instead of tag soup. Broke a couple points off going down the rocks. Bullet exit point visible, entry near front of opposite shoulder.
2007, 3rd day spike in spike restricted GMU. Bullet entry in back of head at 80 yards off-hand as the spike ran through the pine trees. That's why antler tipped2side, skull fractured.

is that shot a mistake or do you just have a lotta nerve to shoot an elk in the back of the head, i dont know how many ppl will like this post
