I've had a 795 for over 20 years.  I've killed many, many jackrabbits with it... longest shot was (a measured) 160 yards.  Don't remember ever having any problems with it... nice little .22 for the money.

Does anyone know if there as there an advantage to magazine vs tube fed? (Other than capacity?)

Is one inherently more reliable or able to withstand hard knocks?

if your getting in and out of the car alot the tube fed is kind of a pain but i havent noticed a diffrence in reliabilty however you cant lose a tube and you dont have the mag sticking out where you carry the gun but its really just a prefrence

the 60 and 795 are the same rifle just one is set up to use tube fed and the other detachable magazine. If you get the parts you can interchange the magazine setup. So the 795 is a really good gun. I just picked up a 60, only shot five rounds of subsonic and it worked flawlessly.

Only one company I know of makes any kind of aftermarket accessories if that interests you. http://www.rimfiretechnologies.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=50
Never, ever let Creed hold you baby, it will ruin it and you will have to get another.
