Late season cow hunt, we got one!
« on: December 03, 2009, 08:55:05 PM »
Well my huntn buddy got a cow down during a 4 day hunt this last weekend. We hunted the winston one last time for the late hunt. It took a couple days to figure them out once we got there. Good amount of snow but it melted surprising fast in certian areas, it took chains on the truck to get my travel trailer in. My father in law, myself and Rick hit it hard and chased a few around and had a great time. Here are a few pictures from our time out.

Right on! I was in the middle of posting whether it was archer gear or not when you added more pics. Meat in the freezer!

Good job and great pic's. I have a late cow tag in Coweeman. Hope I can do as well as you guys. I usually take my camera along but forget to use it. I'll try to be better about it this year.  Promise..    Mark

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Way to go Dale.  Sounds like a great time.  Glad to hear Rick got one.  He definately puts is time in, and it's about time you let someone else do the killing!!!
