A Couple Survivors From NE WA
« on: December 07, 2009, 08:33:40 PM »
I found some elk tracks on Thanksgiving weekend, threw out a half a bail of hay, and checked the cam a week later.  Two six point bull elk and some whitetails, I will have to do some research here next year.

Is that a bunny I see at the bottom of the 3rd pic?  ;)  I only saw the great bull and the buck, but my wife spied the fluffy little bunny. Go figure.  :)

They're good at seeing stuff like that. i swear my girlfriend sees more animals then anyone I know. We'll be driving down the road and she'll look up from her magazine and say," hey theres a deer", "where?" i say. "Way over there on the side of that hill in that little gap between the trees." ...  I wish she'd take up hunting, we'd always have meat in the freezer

I like how the bull staked his claim to the rest of the hay! "Go ahead you silly little buck try to move me"

Good to see a few made it, especially in that part of the state :IBCOOL:. Hope they make it a few more years. Will likely get a pretty tough on them with the wolf population expanding :bash:. Cool pictures thanks for posting.
