I'll be taking a look next week at some house cleaning on attachments. There are some evident turd files left in there when people attempt to upload too large of images or topics get deleted. As it stands the attachments folder is around 35 Gigabytes and yes over 70,000 files.

I think this will be the last update. Still looking to fix broken thumbnails and missing images. Some full size images I know are missing for good but most are not. Just the thumbnails.

Broken thumbnails can be clicked on about 85% of the time to view the full size image. I'm about burned out of trying to fix this stuff. So if you have an image which is broken feel free to take a moment to fix it for now by just re-uploading the image and removing the old one.

I'll look next week for a solution to rebuild the thumbnail images. If it turns out a dead end then oh well. I suppose I could have paid the hundred bucks to slave the drive in order to ensure that no data was lost transferring across the network but it's too late now. I just didn't think it was needed.  The last time we did an upgrade on the server without slaving the drive off was less than 18 gigs. Now it's around 45 gigs. That was almost two years ago.

Thanks Ray, we apreciate your work.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.
