Nice! I've got one like that with a Bobcat track. Problem was, it wasn't there when I walked in, but it was when I walked back to the truck!

Very nice.  Perfect conditions too, to try and walk it down and call it in.  Too bad there's no general boot hunt.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Have I seen that log before in some of your old pics with track on it or is it a different one.  If its the same, might have a patternable cat there.

Not same Cat, Different one. Different place not same logs I always hike every cut I cross to get good pictures. BIGGER ONE I have cut this year was yesterday Appox 140ish to 160ish  :o  I have Counted about 17 Different Cougars that I can FIND Between Near my place all way over since snow first arrival.  I went three different CANYONS Yesterday and found three Cuts all seperated. Not same Cats. LOT Cats in Wa, Hope you could pull Nail OUT of your boot and get your boot going!  :chuckle:

 :yeah:  Yes Thats why I have NEVER CARRY my gun, IF I see Cougar trax,  TRUST ME! Thats why I must BEHAVE MYSELF!  :chuckle:  Here I come home with only Pictures How boring!
Whole 17 Traxs I counted all over places are all Special Permit Units.  :bash:

Went Elk hunt this morning over westside Spotted a Cougar Cut. Very small one appox 70 to 100ish Female I think. Here my count 18th Cougar this year 2009  :yike:
