Here you go!This bull, which was taken with a muzzleloader, is reported to have come from central Washington near Cle Elum with a score of 408.
Do a search for 8x8, the hunters name is Nailbender on here!

I had it scored B&C Dec. 2nd and the final score was non-typical 393 5/8 net. Gross was 406 and change. 13 or 14 inches in deduction. The standing WA Blackpowder record is 393 1/8. SO.. my 1/2" beats the standing record as I am told. This is my "bull of a lifetime" anyway I look at it. Still really hasn't sunk in.

I know of two legit 400" bulls killed but I can't say where. I'll just say it wasn't the blues. there were a couple that were real close but I haven't heard of any 400's from the blues.

That's because there are no more 400" bulls left in the Blues.  They all left.  Everyone should start putting in for tags in other units... :chuckle:

Always enjoy reading about the "400" elk sitings and kills reported in Washington. Just a reminder...there are only four 400 inch bulls from Washington that have ever been entered in the B&C Record Book...1 typical (1999) and 3 non-typical (2008, 2003 and 1959).
