Oregon boys out Seaduckin' ( plus some more bling)
« on: December 14, 2009, 07:22:50 PM »
Well like almost always something goes wrong on a trip out. Wether it be we left a gun at home, or calls are missing, the waders have a leak........ But this time it was a big one. Saturday morning started off awesome, the water was flat and the winds were calm. But woudnt you know it, at about 600 yards off shore the motor fails!!!! Yep, dead in the water. So all of saturday was spent working on the boat.
Sunday the duck gods were on our side. We all had a great breakfast and cup of joe then hit the salt. We had 2 guys that were on leave from the Army and Navy. And 3 guys from Oregon we had meet last year that wanted to do some seaduckin. Needless to say they had never experienced such fast action! They were putting rounds in the air as if the Japs were bombing us again!!!LOL. But when the day was said and done, it was a hunt with great people, and I will never forget it!

Those are some nice photo's there.  What a hunt!  It looks like you guy's had a great time.  That Oldsquaw, OOOP's, I mean Long Tailed Duck ;), has nice tail feathers on it.  John

Looks like fun, but I hate cleaning those things.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

So you know those guys! They were crapping on them selfs with all the action. I really enjoyed watching them shoot. The smile on Bobs face after the band and the old squaw was priceless.
