desert doe tag
« on: December 19, 2009, 04:19:36 PM »
This happened today 12/19/09.This has go to be the shortest hunt ever.I left the house at about 12:30 drove about 15 minutes to the end of the road. Stepped out the truck got my gear on walked 30 yards and 4 does ran over the hill stopped about 150 yard out the minute they spotted me.I laid down put the scope on her and my hunt was done. Now my freezer is full with ELK and Venison. Her is a pic of my ELK. Its been a GREAT season.

Right on! Nice season! My friend had a desert doe tag last year and filled his doe tag rather quick too. Congrats!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Where are the pics of the monsters?  :dunno:  Nice job on the doe.
I've hunted almost everyday of my life, the rest have been wasted.

Sounds like a great season...
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
