so since i cant use conibears, snares, or any other body gripping trap due to yuppy legislation what would you suggest for the bobcat?Steve

You better off with taller traps for bobcats, 15 to 18 inches is best. There is a guy in KS that makes very good boxtraps, tall, I think they go for $60 a trap, but I'm not sure if the shipping will kill you. If you want I can get his information and pass it along to you.

The best bobcat cages are about 12-15" wide and 18-24" tall, yancy makes them, not cheap but really good qaulity. google Yancy bobcat cage traps. Good luck, its fun!
