Two in a row
« on: December 20, 2009, 08:53:04 PM »
[A friend from work showed me some pictures of the deer his son Justin shot this year and last. The young man is going to be quite the hunter. The one from this year was posted earlier but I wanted to add it with the one from last year.
The first two pictures are from this year.Shot in the Cowiche at 110 yards with a 35 rem.
And the third is his 2008 buck another Cowiche deer .1 shot from 125 yards did the trick. His dad is very
proud and worried justin may be hard to live with until next hunting season

It's better to have a gun and not need it than to need one and not have it.                                                                             Local 66 sheetmetal workers

:yike:  Holy crap batman, that kids got some gooood karma on his side. And the fact that his pa is probably a pretty good hunter as well. I hope I can be as good as him when I grow up! :-[

I shot one like that several years ago. Even though it is small, it counts as a legal deer!

Two for two is better then I started out. Way to go. Remember Dad as tough as it will be until next season there are a TON of worse things to have your kids waiting for ;).

The bottom buck's eye guards will be very close to one inch in length. And the point on the other side is very close.

Not knocking the buck at all, I'm sure its legal. But I think I would have passed.

It was the cowiche unit right? GMU 368

Hell I wish I was half as lucky as that kid, I havent even shot a deer in WA.
