Ive got to believe you could find one on line faster. wouldn't be able to use the gift card but you'd have before February  :yike:

I went to Cablela's on the 24th and had $75 in gift cards screaming for a Mojo Critter. No Mojo Critters anywhere. Lots of other Mojo stuff. Ended up buying some more .223 rounds instead. Allpredatorcalls.com is also sold out. Haven't looked anywhere else. I also want one of the seats from Randy Anderson and they didn't have those either.

I was kicking around getting some .223 ammo instead...but I couldnt resist. I dont mind waiting around. I will just use the feather trick till then....had to try something new...I guess I need all the help i can get. ;()

I have the Mojo and love it and highly reccomend it.  I just want to speak out on the really huge love affair with decoys that seems to be on here lately.

There are some negative sides to using a decoy.  In order to put it somewhere useful, you will need to expose yourself for a longer period of time and spread your scent around more.  It is one more thing to carry around.  It may make you overconfident that you can get away with more movement.  Lastly, sometimes the movement can spook animals as much as attract them.

Just some things to think about.  Use them as another tool, but don't rely on it too much.  Pay more attention to the important things like concealment, scouting, stand approach, etc.   :twocents:

Thanks T~

It was more of "i have to burn this cabelas gift card...hmm..mojo critter!".  :chuckle:

I have a few decoys, (some vibrating rabbit on a stick thingy...big plastic coyote...feathers..etc) but to be honest I rarely use them. I think the mojo has the same plastic stake set up as my rabbit decoy....it was a pain over at the clockum trying to find a spot without so many rocks to place it in.

I have had zero luck the last two times I have been out...well...I should say, I didnt see any....might have had something come in. :dunno:

You never know till ya try. Thanks for all the input gents.

I went to the toy store and found a kids ball with a motor in it that rolls around on its own. I drilled a hole in it, and ran some mono line through it. tie the end on to a de fletched arrow and pok it in the ground. cover it with a pheasant skin or rabit skin...heck even coyote skin......works like butter so far......5 years running

The mojo hasa pretty study steel stake.  I have unscrewed the stake in some areas with just exposed bedrock and propped the base up with a couple small rocks.  I have also hung it upside down on a low tree branch with a little string.  It is really versatile and easy on batteries.  You will like it.
