Worth the drive? Yak area pheasants
« on: December 30, 2009, 12:02:27 PM »
Thinking of heading over this weekend.
How are the birds acting?
Is the res closed Dec 31?
Any help appreciated.

The reservation closes tomorrow, and the birds are wiley.  I went out today in the fresh snow and got one rooster to hold still, but all of his buddies flushed several hundred yards ahead.  I don't know where you are driving from, but you might want to save the gas money for next year.  :twocents:
