I was diggin up a photo for Kuduman and thought I would post it.  My hunting partner shot it bruiser in 2006 during the general rifle hunt on the second day.  He was supposed to chase him out towards me but he went the opposite direction so he put him down.  Its the best buck I've ever seen or heard of coming out of Dayton.  Especially for a whitetail.  Love the Double/triple browtines and the extra kicker to add to it.  We were staggered throughout or buddies seeded wheat field property and searching all the eyebrows when this stud popped out and started haulin ass away from him.  He shot 2 or 3 times to get him down.  I couldn't believe it when I got up to him.  Unbelievable animal and great hunt.  I was proud to be there.  I thought maybe Jeff (Kuduman) might have done the taxi work for him.  Do you happen to remember this buck Jeff??

Nice Buck:
Is that the one that a bear got to before you two could recover it? If so I did the work and I'll try to get a pic for you

Not sure.  I left shortly after he got it.  I know of a few people that had spotted this buck.  Not sure if there is more to the story prior to the kill.

Anxious to see the photo of the one you mounted.  You do great mounts.

MAGhunter:
Here is the picture of the buck that I was thinking of. I think I mounted this one back in 04 or so. It's not the biggest WT I have ever mounted but one of the biggest from around Dayton. I green scored it at around the mid 160's as I recall
Sorry about the picture quality
Stop by the shop next time your in town... I'll buy you a cup of coffee

Thanks

Thanks Wacenturian

Kuduman........nice buck, beautiful mount.  Anyway to enlarge that photo?  The small size just doesn't do it justice.  Any other shots from a different angle?    Thanks.

That's the only photo I had of that mount. It was a hard copy that I scanned and I'm not a photoshop expert. I wish now that I had used a higher resolution digital. Sorry

That is a sweet buck.  It's almost perfect in symmetry, at least from that few.  Nice work!!

Great buck!
