Hunt tomorrow, anyone up for a Duck hunt? Saturday: 1/2/2010
« on: January 01, 2010, 06:02:40 AM »
I'm planning on going duck hunting in Skagit valley or Camino Island tomorrow, Saturday, 1/2/2010. Anyone up for it. I can't leave until 5:30 AM. I've got a dozen decoys and a new shotgun to try out.

what's the B.P. hunting preserve? I'd like to try that. Any additional info?

I dont believe its 1000 acres but there is small ponds to hunt out there.  It is hit or miss really, if its windy it can be good.

nwracer78: no birds on my hunt either. Saw plenty of Snow Geese but too high up to shoot. A few ducks but none in range. Pretty disappointing. I've been up there several times now with no luck. I think I'm moving to greener pastures.
