wow that was a find i wonder if it got drug in there that crack does not look big enough for a moose to get stuck in there but i have seen weirder things

Might of gone in when the crack was covered in a couple feet of snow.

I hunted and lived in an area that had alot of those,better know where they are when the snow flies and your out screaming.

Thats terrible, can't think of a much worse way to go. I found a full skeleton of a yearling buck up above Winthrop a few years ago down in the bottom of an abandoned mine shaft about 15' down. the fall wasn't far enough to kill so i'm sure it stuck there till it died.
