I did see a nice buck shed. I think it was one of the ones in jumped em thread. Saw two smaller ones packing one side. I have no plans to push them though. I'll miss out on a bunch of bone, but it isn't worth it I've come to decide. Most of the deer ignore me. I get them to look at me by blowing on my howler from Bearman. One quick yip gets them to look my way, then I let them get back to normal day operations before moving on. Most will lay in the bed and watch me ski down or hike down the ridge. Its jus tnow getting to be enough snow to actually warrant skis or snowmobile if I am on a main road. Nice easy winter so far. This ice will change things for them a bit. Still LOTS of exposed food for what deer there are. I am finding whole tracts of normal range without a deer.
