Thanks for the offer, good bunch of folks on this site, I'll check in the morning damn check is sitting there in pending transactions !  Had some unexpected family bills this month kind of sucked up the savings.  Enjoy the shoot tomorrow and I appreciate the offer.

Darin,
Think in BHFS it was a 308... or close to that.  225 was high score for Trad...  then a 322 for youth FS.

Shootmore,  no worries just come on out and see me tomorrow.

course was pretty tough  :( jessica was a little bummed on saturday. she lost or broke 3 arrows. just a suggestion, maybe not so many longer shots, no forty yard booboo, makes it way to hard on beginners and they dont have fun

Scores will be posted on the website later today.  Hunter,  course was easy on Saturday!  If you shot booboo for 40 on Sat that was a tad long...  ;)

Should be a disclaimer at the start of the shoot which I have heard before out at the Whidbey shoot before.

"If your not comfortable with the shot or the distance or both MOVE CLOSER have fun and just keep your score card in your pocket"

Keep bringing your women along just encourage her to shoot from the blue stake and test her limits from the red when its a Buffalo or a Elk.  Remember most of these shoots on Saturday are for flights and fun and scores do not count for poop.

More you shoot the better you get ;) keep her and any other beginner coming just move them up to the next stake until they can make it through a course with all there arrows.

well it is what it is apparently. at the risk of sounding like an ass, it was set up pretty tough for a fun shoot. i know i'm not the only one that feels this way. i heard it from more then a couple people on sunday. i'm not a member though so i guess it doesnt matter.

Sunday is always a little tougher.  My score actually increased by 30 points.  We try to make it realistic hunting practice and challenge the top shooters.   Most people come to have fun,  expecially on Saturday what hunt4 said is very true,  new shooters can just move up to where they are comfortable,  have them shoot from the blue and shoot for fun!  Funny thing is I had a several comments that Sunday we had too many easy targets... LOL  Now I wouldn't go that far.....   Most shots 30-45 yards for wheels,  with only a few at 45-50 range all on big targets such as the buffalo and elk....  I will admit there was some shots you had to be able to "thread" between trees,  similar to hunting?

It is a total score for all 3 legs,  just the Sunday scores count.  The flyer states must shoot all 3 dates (which are Sundays)  but call Roger at Wilderness Archery to make sure!
