Sorry Lokidog, hunting this area drove me right out of duck and goose hunting.  A buddy who still braves the crowds gave me some duck he shot over here on the wetside  .  That put the nail in the coffin in my duck and goose hunting.  I was really supprised how terrible wetside ducks taste compared to eastside.

You probably don't want to take a 12' boat where the brant fly.  Only if it fits inside of a larger boat.  It can be to un predictable in the salt.
