Sierra bullets for reloading

Is it my imagination, or are there a ton of Sierra bullets on the shelves for reloading?  Is there a reason they seem to not be moving as fast as Nosler and Hornady?

ummmmm if you have ever seen their facilities or even pictures of it, you would understand.  They make a gajillion bullets a week.

I know a guy who took a tour of their facility last fall.  They were running .223 bullets on 3 lines.  They were producing like 250,000 .223 bullets a shift, and could not keep up to meet demand.  Something about our guys shooting many many rounds in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Their top end bullets are great.  I love their handgun bullets for reloading, especially the .300 gr. jsp for the .44 mag.

you have nothing to fear with a sierra bullet......unless you shoot a super magnum at short range. they are arguably as acurate as they come.

they are a great company my bushmasters love them. don't think twice about trying them they are A+

I'll stock up on them.  Now if I could just find some large rifle primers!  Everyone has been cleaned out.

They have great bullets.  My 8mm/06 shoots their 220 grn Game King bullet in a tighter group than any other brand.  They are a one shot killing machine.  You can call their 800 number and ask to speak to Bulletsmiths.  They will advise you on what load might be best for your weapon or any other question you may have.

I've been shooting Sierra bullets for more than 25 years. Great stuff through all of my guns on targets and game!

As of a couple of days ago, they had a total of 1000 benchrest primers, and they would only let you buy 200.  I grabbed the 200, and they were out the next day I went in.  Have they got a shipment in lately?

Sierra "Boat-Tail" 180 Grain .30 cal !!!  Excellent bullet !!!

I've used them a lot for my 22-250, 223, and 220 swift. They shot very well. I used the 30 cal TNT's back when I started coyote hunting and they were very accurate. I have never used them for big game but have heard good things about them.

Actually the 60 grain HP varminter is the best bullet I've ever shot from my .223's as far as accuracy goes. It's shot great in 4 AR's.

They're a great bullet.... way accurate.  I personally like a better constructed bullet for elk/bear but gophers to deer wouldn't hesitate to shoot em.

Try the Cabelas in Lacy. I was there yesterday and they had an ok selection of primers. I'm not sure if there were any large rifle, but it might be worth a call.

 :)I also like them, consider it one of the better brands!! The reloading manual they publish is also very well done.   Many match shooters use Sierra bullets.
