Dont know about the best, but I just got the FoxPro spitfire and am very happy with the qaulity of the sounds and the unit. Have yet to use it in the field, this weekend will try out but for 199.99 I think it is pretty nice!

Good question. Everyone I have talked to likes the Foxpro! I just called in two coyotes yesterday with my $7.99 mouth call. I would like one of those Foxpros though!

Depends on your needs and $ $ $ $  I made me a version of VarmintAl's elCheapo and it works just fine for under $50.  I added an MP3 player to it from one of my kids old ones and so I have now gone Hi-Tech (lol-lol)  But along with C-Money, I too use a lot of hand calls because the batteries just do not seem to die at the wrong time..

Electronic and waterproof that would be foxpro in a zip lock bag  ;)
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

 :yeah:

I received my custom programmed Spitfire this past Friday.  Nice unit for $200.00 but, definitely NOT waterproof.

Yeah, I was gonna say... I don't think there is a waterproof one on the market, but a ziplock works good.

I do the foxpro in bag thing too when I'm in a pinch but don't call to much in the rain, it seems to be quite a bit less productive. Dave
